Hello! My name is Kristen Tosh. I graduated high school from Elk City, OK in
2002 and graduated college from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in
Weatherford, OK in December of 2006 with a degree in English Education. I
did my student teaching at Clinton Middle School in Clinton, OK. I was
privileged to get the opportunity to teach English as a Second Language, 7th
grade Honors English, and 8th grade English. I am certified to teach
English, 6th through 12th grade, and English as a Second Language, 6th
through 12th grade.
I taught adult education in Elk City and Clinton for three months helping
students get their GED's. I also taught English to adults that did not
speak English as their first language. This is my second year to teach in a
public school, and I am very excited to get back into the classroom. I also
coach and help coach JV basketball. I have known since I was in elementary
school that I wanted to be a teacher, so my passion for my profession will
be shown each day in my class.
I enjoy going to go to the lake, being outdoors, and spending time with my
family and friends. I love all sports, especially extreme sports, such as
wakeboarding, motocross, bmx, etc... I have one dog, a five year old yorkie,
and her name is Elka. She has not realized yet though that she is a dog. Ha
Ha!
I am looking forward to beginning this wonderful school year. Cannot wait to
see you in class!
