Monday, Nov 30th:
~~Getting Organized Day! Today we will go over our tests from before the break, we will pass back papers and review a team activity from last week, and we will clean out our notebooks. HOMEWORK: none Tuesday, Dec 1st: ~~Today we start our next unit of study: Rocks and Minerals! We will take a pre-test today so I can assess students' beginning knowledge over this topic. HOMEWORK: none Wednesday, Dec 2nd: ~~We will investigate common minerals today and explore the elements from the periodic table that make up these minerals. HOMEWORK: none Thursday, Dec 3th: ~~Mineral Detectives Lab---students will perform a variety of tests to identify different "mystery" minerals. HOMEWORK: none Friday, Dec 4th: ~~Mineral Detectives Lab, cont.
