About The Teacher
This is my third year in the Deer Creek School District. The past two years I taught 8th U.S. History at DCMS. This year I will be teaching AP European History and U.S. Government. I am extremely excited to be teaching at DCHS. I grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School in 1999. After high school, I accepted a cross country and track scholarship to Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. In 2004, I received a B.A. in History and then moved to Columbia, Missouri. For five years I worked for North Callaway Schools teaching and coaching. In the summer of 2009 I returned to Oklahoma to begin teaching here at Deer Creek.
