EXTRA CREDIT POINTS

     20 Extra Credit Points may be earned monthly by memorizing the Poem of 
the Month and reciting it to the teacher; by the last school day of the month.
  
    For 25 extra Credit points, type a 6th grade quality summary of a 
book you have read. Include a 7-8 sentence paragraph summary and your 
opinion of the book. List the book title, author, number of pages and rating 
at the top of your summary. Submit your summary to Miss Simer in the 
library. You may also e-mail your summary to her. You will receive your 
extra credit once the summary is posted on the blog site. You may want to 
check out the site and read some summaries before you get started.

10 EXTRA CREDIT POINTS

This is a STUDENT assignment, NOT a parent assignment.Bring in actual 
photographs of signs YOU have seen that have misspellings, 
grammar mistakes or sentence structure mistakes. Newspaper articles, 
advertisements or magazine articles also are fine. Do not print things off 
the internet. Along with highlighting the mistake, have a written 
explanation of what is wrong and how it should be 
fixed.
