Welcome to 6th grade! I hope you are as excited as I am to be here. After 16
years of teaching elementary, I decided to try something new 2 years ago and
here I am! I grew up in Edmond and graduated from Edmond Memorial High
School in 1986. In 1990, I received my elementary education degree from
Oklahoma Baptist University and then my Master's degree from UCO in 1994. In
2002 I became a National Board Certified Teacher in Middle Childhood. I have
been married for 17 years to the best man in the world, Eric, and we have
three children. Bailee is in 10th grade, Ashlyn is in 7th grade and Colton
is in 4th grade. My "free" time is spent watching softball, baseball,
cheerleading, football or basketball games. We are actively involved in our
church and love to spend time together as a family. I am so happy you are in
my class this year and we are going to have an awesome time together
learning in many fun, hands-on ways!
