Literature:

*Students can recite the poem of the month for 20 extra credit points.

*For every ten points earned over their A.R. goal, they will receive 5 extra credit points.

*I also give extra credit opportunities periodically throughout the nine weeks. When the opportunity arises, grab it while you can to help boost your grade!

Composition:

*Students will receive 10 pts. extra credit for turning in their 1st typed draft of an essay a day early. They will receive 10 pts. extra credit for turning in their 2nd typed draft of an essay a day early as well. This is a potential 20 pts. extra credit on every essay.

*I will give 2 extra credit points, on every vocabulary test, for knowing the Latin word part and its meaning.

*I will have a bonus sentence, on every HOG quiz, that will have various available extra credit points.
