***These are the supplies students should bring to class everyday:
1) Agenda/Planner
2) Language Arts Binder (Includes: Tabbed section, notebook paper, 
   3 subject spiral notebook, and red folder)
3) Pencil
4) Library book

***Students can be reading their A.R. books at home.

***Any unfinished school work will be homework.

1) Review main idea
2) Read chapter 1-3 of Freak the Mighty aloud
3) Discussion questions

Tuesday 9th:
1) Read chapter 4-6 of Freak the Mighty aloud
2) Discussion questions

Wednesday 10th:
1) Read chapter 7-8 of Freak the Mighty with a partner
2) Discussion questions

Thursday 11th:
1) Create a comic strip showing main ideas from ch. 1-8

Friday 12th:
1) Novel day!


Monday 1st:
1) No School!

Tuesday 2nd:
1) Take 5 opening
2) Poem of the month activity
3) Poem of the month assignment

Wednesday 3rd:
1) Genre notes- Historical and realistic fiction
2) Genre notes- Autobiography and Biography

Thursday 4th:
1) Review for literature quiz

Friday 5th:
1) Literature quiz
2) Novel Day

2) Author's Purpose notes
