Week of-Dec. 14-18 COMPOSITION We will be having a final on Thursday. It will be a review. Students will write the days of the week and the months in order for 100 points. They will be given a prompt to write a 3 paragraph response with at least 6 sentences per paragraph for 100 points for a total of 200 points. We write every day in class, so this should be an easy final for them. They will complete their last class project on Wed., which is an interview of an administrator/teacher. They will write a complete mini biography about their subject and present it on Wed. LITERATURE Students will have their final on Thursday. I have been reading to them the short story "An Afternoon with the Elves". It is a great story of friendship between unlikely candidates. They will take the AR test on this book; have a brief quiz, and write a short reaction paper to count as their final over this story.
