For some reason my new conversations with you are not getting saved. I am viewing
them, but when I go back to update, the same information from weeks ago is still there.
I am sure some of you are getting frustrated because you may not be seeing my new
information. I am so sorry. I am pretty tech-dumb, so hang in there with me, and I will
continue to try to use this wonderful device for communication.
This is an exciting week with many special activites for the students. Tomorrow, you
will actually see me in my PJ's. I wasn't brave enough last year. The students will be
distracted, but I think we all need a little break from routine. Oct. is filled with
excitement, parent night, and some days out of school.
We will not have a spelling test this week. In composition, we will be using a new book
called Learning to Study, to determine topic sentence and study proper organization.
To follow that format, in Literature, we will be discussing main idea and selecting our
heroes to write a research paper on. We will read 2 short stories on heroes, in
preparation for their papers.
