Hello! My name is Amy Thomas and I am thrilled to be Rose Union’s music
teacher! I graduated in 2002 from OSU with a degree in Music Education
specializing in vocal/general music. While I was there I was a member of
the Cowboy Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, OSU Concert Chorale, Chamber
Singers, Madrigal Singers, and participated in the Operatic Scenes program.
I was the Associate Choir Director of the Stillwater Girls Choir from 1999-
2004 and Preparatory Choir Director and Co-Founder of the Stillwater Honor
Choir from 2004-2006, both of which have been showcased at the Oklahoma Music
Educators Association convention. In 2005, I received my level one
certification in World Music Drumming.
My husband, Kyle, and I have been married for six years, and we have a two
year old son named Carter. We also have two pets: our cat, Nala, and our
dog, Bauer!
