April 6-10
We are finishing up our centers this week. They will be due on Friday. Our
story this week is called "Wilbur's Boast". We will work on story topic and
details by using a graphic organizer. We will practice vocabulary throughout
the week by rereading and looking up the definitions for spelling.
We are on the 4th nine weeks spelling contract. We are working on
definitions instead of sentences. Please feel free to look over the new
contract and participate in any new activities with your child.
Please be sure that your child is reading each night for 20 minutes for IRC,
AR and for fun...one book can actually be for all three! They need to start
a new book for IRC this week!!!
In math we will review material for the CRT test.
We are finishing our Earth Materials unit.
