I am originally from Shawnee Mission, Kansas. I came to Oklahoma in 1993 to
attend Southern Nazarene University. After graduation, I taught in
Bakersfield, California for 3 years and then returned to Oklahoma to teach at
Hefner Middle School, in the Putnam City School District, for 8 years. I am
married to my college sweetheart and we have 2 children. Sam is 10 years old
and the athlete of the family. Caroline is 5 years old and quite “the little
princess”. This is my third year at Deer Creek. It is a delight and
pleasure to be a part of the faculty here at Deer
Creek Middle School. I am honored to have your student in class.
