Drawing II:
Lecture on observation and drawing from real life. The class will start a
drawing of their own hand holding an object such as a pencil, paintbrush,
etc. They can use any drawing technique that they feel comfortable with.
Pencil only.
The hand drawing is in preperation for the "Hand-scape" drawing that they
will start next. Today I lectured on Fantasy and Surreal art. The students
will create a Fantasy scene with at least two hand drawings in the picture.
They will add their imagination to create a scene that is from the Surreal
world. The can use any media or mixed-media of their choice.
Lecture and Handouts will help them with this assignment.
Painting II:
The class is working on an "Oil Pastel Landscape". They were given a lecture,
demonstration and actual pastel drawings to look at. The landscape is due
today.
The next lesson is and "Oil Pastel of their Choice". Any subject matter and
size paper that fits the object.
