Welcome to third grade!! We are going to have a very busy and exciting year. I am looking forward to meeting everyone. In third grade we will have reading homework everynight. The students will have a planner to write their assignments in each day. The story needs to be read orally to someone. The students need to have the planner signed and returned to school every day. I will send a folder home with each child on Monday containing all graded work and important notes. Please check your child's backpack each week. There will also be a place for you to sign and date that you have received the papers each week. I will let you know more after we get settled into school for a few days.
