Mrs. Bogner

I was born and raised in Kansas. Upon graduation with my undergraduate from Emporia State
University I worked with juvenile offenders and adult prisoners. I have also worked with a safe house
for abused senior citizens, and as the coordinator for an employment support services program for
individuals with developmental disabilities. After marrying my husband, we moved to Wisconsin for
six years. During that time I focused on being a stay at home mom and gave most of my attention to
our two wonderful children. We moved to Oklahoma in 2007. During my stay at home days, I also
worked on acquiring all the credentials necessary to teach special education. Most recently, I
graduated with my Master's degree in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.

I fully believe in the power of each child's individual mind. We are all
unique, and we learn in different ways. Children are no exception. I enjoy
spending time with children to assist them in finding the way their brain
naturally works in order to learn in the most effective way possible.

The best way to communicate with me? e-mail. I make many attempts
throughout the day to check my e-mail and respond as quickly as possible.

I want to spend time visiting with my students and their parents to learn as
much about my student as possible. The most reliable resource I know is the
parents and the student him/herself. I am always amazed at how well
student's know themselves; if we just take the time to ask.

I look forward to getting to know you, the parents, AND students in the next
few weeks!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Bogner

"One Mind at a Time"

My mission reflects Dr. Mel Levine. "One Mind at a Time". It takes each and
every one of us to make our world go round. While Deer Creek Grove Valley is
busy discovering the world, me and my students will also be busy discovering
our minds.
