TERRIFIC KID PROGRAM
Terrific Kids is a program to recognize all students for doing the right thing
and to build self-esteem among students. The Terrific Kid program will
incorporate the life principles from Great Expectations along with the Six
Pillars of Character.
Every child will be recognized once during the school year 2012-2013 for one
of the Character Pillars or Great Expectation Principles listed below. Each
student may bring a picture of himself or herself that will be displayed on
our Terrific Kid wall. Their classroom teacher will write a brief sentence
or two on a note card explaining why students were chosen for the specific
Life Principle.
The guidance program will continue to introduce the Pillars and the Life
Principles throughout the year.
