I am a graduate of University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. I have
taught Kindergarten for 6 years and first grade for 3 years. I taught at
Lakehoma my very first year then went to Blanchard for 5
years of all-day kindergarten. I am very excited to be back at Lakehoma
and am excited to teach Second Grade this year for the first time. Lakehoma
is a great environment to grow and learn in!
On a personal Note...
I am happily married to a Mustang graduate(Bill), and have three wonderful
children.
My oldest(Carson) is 21 and is a supervisor at UPS. He is my 'little'
boy, ha ha, 6'5", 300 pounds and size 17 shoe.
My middle daughter(Alicia) is a Junior at Mustang High School. She just
returned from a 2 month mission trip to Ugands, Africa. She will be sharing
her experiences with us this year. She sings in the youth band at church and
in big church on Sundays!
My 'baby'(Cordney) is a Freshman this year. She plays basketball
competitatively, and is looking to try soccer out this spring.
I love traveling(a LOT) to see my children compete and perform. In my
spare time(LOL) I love to read and go on mission trips. I have been to
Mexico four times to build houses and felt so blessed by the experience. :)
My mission is to create an environment that will allow all learners to
excell in their education. I hope to help each and every student learn and
grow to their full potential. I also hope to infect my students with my
love for reading, it is truly a building block for all we do in life. When
we work together as a team(teacher, parent and student), I know the sky is
the limit to what we can achieve.
United We Stand...Divided We Fall!
