All first graders should read for 15-20 minutes daily at home.  Write down your books on our monthly book log. 

Remember that our goal is to read at least 25 books per month.

 

Use your sight word list to work on sight words each week.  These need to be memorized by sight.

 

We will be working on addition facts 0-10 this first semester.  Second semester will be subtraction facts 0-10.

Flash cards work well for this to reinforce quick recall of math facts and are a good way to practice these at home.
