Great Expectations

Great Expectations is a program that teaches us respect for ourselves and each
other. In our classroom, we will be a considerate and compassionate student.
We also enjoy our friends success. We live by 8 expectations that help us to
become a better person. We also have a monthly Character Trait. One student
from our class will be picked as the Character Trait Winner for the month. We
have great expectations for ourselves and each other!

Each week we will be learning a new life principle and quote. Please look
below to find our 8 expectations for living, quote and life priniciple for
this week.

8 Expectations

1. We will value one another as unique and special individual.

2. We will not laugh or make fun of a person’s mistakes nor use sarcasm or put
downs.

3. We will use good manners, say “please,” “thank you,” and excuse me and
allow others to go first.

4. We will cheer each other to success.

5. We will help one another whenever possible.

6. We will recognize every effort and applaud it.

7. We will encourage each other to do our best.
