Message from the Principal

Welcome Parents, Students, and Visitors to the Limestone Technology Academy’s website.
Limestone is a fantastic little school with a highly qualified staff and college bound expectations for our students.
Limestone’s “Technology Academy” title comes from our staffs’ commitment to keeping technology current and immersing our students in technology whenever possible. Currently all of our classrooms contain SMARTBOARDS (interactive boards), Front Row Systems (surround sound for teachers), Instant Response Systems (clickers for immediate student response) and several other key technology components.
Limestone educators are constantly searching for Research-based technology programs and hardware to advance our students and strive to find funding through grants to help meet our needs and provide the best technology for our student body.
It is clear that the expectations of companies and workplaces are changing with technology and it is our goal to keep our students on the cutting edge of these changes and give them the tools necessary to be highly successful throughout their academic career and beyond.
Limestone Technology Academy has a student body of approximately 300 students. We currently have one Pre-K class and two classes of Kindergarten through fifth grade. We offer P.E., Music, Computer Classes, Study Island (a computer program), Renaissance Math, Accelerated Reader, Mathletes, Mileage Club, 5th Grade Camp, Arts and Crafts (after-school), Small Group Tutoring, Title I Family Nights, Carnival, reading and math incentives, attendance incentives, and several other programs for our students and parents.
Recently we have had an influx of parents wanting to transfer their children to Limestone from our Sand Springs district or surrounding districts. We feel honored that parents want their children to become a part of our school community and thank you in advance. If you are a parent that wishes to join our school we ask that you contact the Sand Springs Administration offices at 918-246-1400 and ask for transfers.
Thank you in advance for your interest in Limestone Technology Academy, and to those of you who are already a part of our school community we say, “Let’s go for the GOLD” and work as a team to ensure that your child(ren) have every necessary advantage to reach success.

Sincerely,

Kristin Arnold, Principal

The Great Expectations Program, founded in 1991, is a scientifically-based research educational reform model that is bringing major change and innovation to PK-12 public and private schools in Oklahoma.
