My name is Andy Casey. I teach American History here at Mustang High
School. I have been married to my beautiful wife Jan for 30 years. We have
2 children, my son Brandon, and my daughter Crystal. We have four pets,
three cats and a duck! On September 28th my daughter gave birth to my first
grandchild. Kaleb Cade made me a very proud grandpa!
I have a B.S. in Political Science Education from what is now known as the
University of Central Oklahoma. Back in my day it was Central State
University. I have been teaching here at Mustang for 17 years. While
at Mustang I have taught Oklahoma History, World History, Government,
Economics, and American History. I have also coached Baseball, Football,
and Track. My first two years of teaching were at Webster Middle School in
Oklahoma City.
Every student should gain a basic understanding of the events that have
shaped the United States into what it is today. At the end of the year each
student will be able to relate those events to our world today, and explore
the consequences for the future.
