| Welcome to the MNMS PTSA School Dance Page. Here you will find the dates,
times and rules for the dances that PTSA sponsors at MNMS. All students
attending will be expected to abide by the rules or they will be removed
immediately. We have had problems in the past with inappropriate
dress. That will not be tolerated this year. If you can not wear your
outfit to school, then you can not wear it to the dance. All dances are
from 7pm to 9pm. We ask that transportation home be there at 9pm. All of
the dances listed are for current students (6th, 7th and 8th grades) at
MNMS. There will be a DJ setup in the cafeteria for dancing, basketball in
the gym, karaoke in the music room, and board games (Bingo) in the band
room. We hope the choice of several activities will fit the social needs
for many different students. All dance tickets cost $5 for non-PTSA members
and $4 for PTSA members (you must have your PTSA card present when you buy
your ticket).
Below are the tentative dates for the 2007-2008 PTSA Dances:
****Valentine's Dance - Friday, February 22nd, 7-9pm****
Admission: $5.00 without PTSA membership card, $4.00 with proof of
membership
MNMS PTSA SCHOOL DANCE RULES:
1. Only Mustang North Middle School students and their parents will be
allowed to attend. No outside visitors or dates will be permitted.
2. The dance is completely PTSA sponsored and is not a school function.
3. The parking area and drive will be patrolled by a police officer (off
duty hired by group) or some other type of security authority.
4. Students must wear clothing which is approved under the school dress
code unless otherwise specified (THIS INCLUDES HATS)
5. All students must purchase a ticket prior to being admitted to the dance.
6. Light control will be set by an adult sponsor.
7. No smoking or the drinking of alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
8. Individuals will not be permitted to loiter outside the building.
Police/Security personnel have authority to remove such persons from school
property upon request from PTSA.
9. Any student removed from a dance by the appointed sponsors will not be
readmitted and should return home.
10. Students should arrange transportation so that they are picked up from
the school at 9:00 p.m..
OUR GOAL IS THAT ALL STUDENTS ENJOY THIS ACTIVITY AND THAT NOTHING SHOULD
OCCUR THAT WOULD LEAD SPONSORS FROM RESTRICTING FUTURE ACTIVITIES OF THIS
KIND. EVERYONE'S COOPERATION WILL BE APPRECIATED AND REWARDED. IF YOU HAVE
