This will be my third year at Creek, and I couldn't think of a better place
to be! I'm moving to third grade after two years in first, and am eagerly
anticipating the new year and the challenges that come with it. I am
originally from Burns Flat, OK and I obtained my Elementary Education degree
from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. I also have a
Masters degree in Educational Administration from the University of Oklahoma
(Go Sooners!)
This will be my ninth year of teaching. In that time, I have taught and
coached in several grade levels in several places. However, my true calling
is instilling a love of learning in young children. My father is a life-long
educator and I'm happy to be following in his footsteps. School and sports
is all I have ever known! I'm very excited to work with such wonderful
people in such a great school.
I have a daughter, Landry (5), a stepson, Cage (6), and a bassett hound
named Milton. I was lucky enough to marry my best friend, Josh, over the
summer. In my spare time, I enjoy attending sporting events (especially OU
football), reading, and spending time with family and friends.
When we care about ourselves and our class, we listen carefully, respect each
other, follow procedures, and have fun together. We will do our best to
SOAR! We will be organized and responsible. We will help each other learn
and work hard. We will stand up for what is right and live by the 8
Expectations and Life Principles. This is who we are, even when no one is
watching!
