About The Teacher

This will be my third year at Creek, and I couldn't think of a better place 
to be!  I'm moving to third grade after two years in first, and am eagerly 
anticipating the new year and the challenges that come with it.  I am 
originally from Burns Flat, OK and I obtained my Elementary Education degree 
from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK.  I also have a 
Masters degree in Educational Administration from the University of Oklahoma 
(Go Sooners!)

This will be my ninth year of teaching.  In that time, I have taught and 
coached in several grade levels in several places.  However, my true calling 
is instilling a love of learning in young children.  My father is a life-long 
educator and I'm happy to be following in his footsteps.  School and sports 
is all I have ever known!  I'm very excited to work with such wonderful 
people in such a great school.

I have a daughter, Landry (5), a stepson, Cage (6), and a bassett hound 
named Milton.  I was lucky enough to marry my best friend, Josh, over the 
summer.  In my spare time, I enjoy attending sporting events (especially OU 
football), reading, and spending time with family and friends.
