Dear Parents/Guardians:
I wanted to invite you to attend our Wakin’ and Shakin’ Assembly Monday
Morning December 7th, 2009 at 7:45 for our classroom showcase of the
character trait of Courtesy. Our class has worked very hard to present a
vocal music performance and assemble a production to present to the school
that morning.
I am also pleased to inform you that my class has already earned their
Compliment Party this year by earning compliments from staff, parents, and
principals throughout the school year. We will celebrate with a Compliment
Acknowledgement Day on Monday December 7th. Students are allowed to wear
appropriate pajamas to school that day and may bring 1 pillow and 1 stuffed
animal. Students may also bring handheld games such as Nintendo DS and
Rated ‘E’ everybody Games for those units. I do have two PS2 systems and will
allow the children to play the video units that day for about 30 minutes and
have told them they may bring rated ‘E’ everybody only games for that system.
They are not to bring games for any other type of system as any other type of
system will not be provided. Please read the permission slip below carefully.

Mrs. Carney, Mustang School District or its occupants will not be held
accountable for the loss or theft of any items brought to school by my child.
I give permission for my child to participate in playing rated ‘e’ for
everybody video games and watching a PG movie provided by Mrs. Carney. If I
do not agree my child will be taken to an alternate setting and given an
alternate activity.
