I was born and raised in Illinois. I graduated and received my Bachelors
degree in education from Southern Illinois University. I taught 2nd grade
one year before moving to Oklahoma in 1986. I've been teaching in the
Mustang School District since 1990. My husband Will is a Captain, and has
been working for the Mustang Police Department for the last 20 years. Jake,
our oldest son married Kelli, our newest addition to the family on Labor Day
weekend this year. Nate, our middle son, is married to Renee and they are
raising our first grandson Brier, who will be 2 years old in February.
Travis, our youngest and only son still living at home, is a junior at
Mustang High School and is involved in football and track.
