How many AR points are required each nine weeks?

How can my child earn Bonus Credit in Math?

I have word search puzzles that they may do for 5 points per
puzzle. I have these puzzles numbered and labeled for each of
the nine weeks. It is their responsibility to keep the puzzles
in their possession until I request them. This request will be
made towards the end of each 9 week period. They will be given
one or two days notice before they are due. That way they can
bring them from home if needed. These puzzles are located in a
black hanging file on the cabinet near the wall by the hall. We
also do pages on Monday called "Drops In the Bucket". These
pages are done as a class project whenever we do not switch for
Math class. If your child will bring their paper to me on
Tuesday I will give them 5 points for each one of these also. I
will only accept them on Tuesdays.

What qualifies as a school shirt?

Any Mustang Valley school t-shirt, from any school year. You
don't need to buy a current school shirt. The Celebration t-
shirt will count as a school shirt whenever they come in, which
is ordinarily towards the end of the year.

Why does my child need to wear a school shirt on a field trip?

First of all, this is a policy of the school district. Secondly,
it helps us identify our students when we are away from the
school. It also provides some unity for our group and security
for your child too.

What is Safety Patrol and what are Mr. Reeves expectations of these people?

Safety Patrol is made up of volunteer 5th graders who assist Mr.
Reeves in keeping our sidewalks safe and greeting people as they
arrive at Mustang Valley on a daily basis. These students will
greet people with a smile and a willing spirit to help make each
day the best it can possibly be. A Safety Patrol officer is
expected to be on teir best behavior at all times while they are
at school. This helps set the proper tone for younger students
at our school. Mr. Reeves will not allow people who behave badly
to as a safety patrol officer.
