1. Students may check out books for 12 school days and may recheck books one
time or more if no one else needs the book. There is a 2 book limit, unless
the student is doing a report or project that requires several books. Check
with the librarian.
2. Students may check out magazines for 5 school days.
3. Students may check out most reference books for 1 day. (Usually at the
end of the school day, due before school starts the next day.)
4. Fines are 5 cents per school day; students are responsible for watching
the due dates, even though we try to get an overdue notice out every 2 weeks.
5. Students are expected to pay for lost or damaged materials. Loaning
books or magazines to friends is not a valid excuse to avoid paying fines or
replacing materials.
