Spelling words should be practiced daily (*See "Week at a Glance" for the most
current spelling list). We will have a pre-test on
Wednesday and the final test on Friday. If your child scores 105% on
Wednesday, they do not have to take the test on Friday.
AR Books = We are working daily to obtain our AR point goals. Your child may
bring home their library books each night. They have an opportunity to test
each day. If for some reason they are unable to each day, they should be able
to every other day as we go to the computer lab on every other day.
Math Facts = Please study daily addition, subtraction and multiplication
facts. The better your child can recite these from memory, the better they
will perform in Math.
Homework packets will be distributed on Monday and must be returned on Friday.
Please do not try to do all the activities in the packet in one night. The
activities should take less than 15-20 minutes daily (aside from AR reading).
Packets returned late will be penalized percentage points for each day that
it is late.
