Saturday 20 December-Sunday 4 January

  • Enjoy the break...you deserve it!  Carpool often; recycle paper (did you know that Americans throw enough paper away each year to build a 12-foot wall from New York to LA?); know that you are dearly loved and will NEVER have to write a 300-page rhetorical analysis about Chesterfield's impressive love for his son, though the suggestion does give me a few ideas...
  • If you just can't contain yourself, start reading Lost Horizon (we'll get into that one first), and if you're still jumping for joy, pick up Reading Lolita in Tehran (both are ABSOLUTELY amazing)...I'm planning to read The Shack and Davinci Code (maybe Angels and Demons while I'm at it); if you have any other suggestions, text me :)
  • If you have nothing to do and no family to spend time with, give me a call (I may not be family, but maybe I can at least make you laugh)

  • I especially want you to understand the MESSAGE (what exactly is going on in this story?).  The strategies and purpose are not as important to me at this point in time, so if you come tomorrow understanding what's happening in the cave and the MESSAGE side (left side) annotated, I'll survive, albeit barely (I'm sure you're quite concerned).
