All girls interested in being a mat maid pick up an application in the 9/10
or 11/12 office. Completed applications are due by today at 3:00. Return
your application to either office.
There will be a sign up sheet in the Library, starting today, from Blunk’s
to take yearbook and senior portraits. The pictures will be taken October
16th and 17th during Fall Break. If you have not had your yearbook photo
taken, this will be a great opportunity. Look for signs posted for
additional information.
Seniors: Get out your creativeness. Create a design for the senior shirt.
Turn in designs to any class officer or to Mrs. Karey by next Monday.

Today will be the last day Mrs. Kellogg will be taking voter registration
cards. If you are 18 or will be 18 by November 3, 2008, you are eligible to
vote, please, fill out a card!!
Class shirts are now available to pre-order. The cost is 10 dollars and can
be ordered in Mr. Andrews room MG 1 or from student council members.
There is an 11/12 building FCCLA meeting today at lunch. PBJ will be
provided. The meeting is mandatory for all members planning to attend the
district meeting on Thursday.
The PLAN Test is today in the auditorium and will begin 2nd hour. The test
might take a few minutes of 2nd lunch. Students need to go straight to the
auditorium after 1st is over. We'll take attendance there. If a sophomore
doesn't have world history class and they wish to take the test, they need
to report and sign-in at the front of the auditorium. If a sophomore should
really be a junior or took it last year, there is no need to take it at this
time.
Remember - Church Lunch this Friday during 11/12 lunch! Only $2 at South
Yukon Church of Christ on NW10th Street. Chicken, potatoes/gravy, &
dessert! Friendly and Delicious!
ACADEMIC TEAM: if you have NOT returned your signed form to Mrs. Cary in
room D2, you must do so by tomorrow!
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! FCA is meeting today in the field house TODAY during
second lunch. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy fellowship, games, and
all you-can-eat pizza for $2. See you there!
Contratulations to the girls Cross Country Team for winning the Southwestern
Christian University meet yesterday.

There will be a Pep Bus traveling to Union for Friday’s Varsity Football Game
The bus will be leaving the school at 4:45 and returning at approximately
12:30 a.m. If you are interested, please sign up in the 11-12 office.
There are 40 seats available and the cost is $10
There will be a BPA meeting today 2nd lunch. We will be deciding on our
civic project for the year. It is not too late to join, so grab something to
eat and come on down to Mr. Duncan's room, B6.
