About The Teacher

I am a native Texan and grew up in Houston, TX. I moved to Oklahoma City
in 1995. I am a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a
Bachelors degree in Spanish Education. I am married and have 4 children and
1 grandson. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the movies,
eating out and just relaxing.

This past summer I had the opportunity to take part in some wonderful
profesional developement programs. In June I attended workshops in Durant,
OK. to help me prepare for National Board Certification. I am excited to
begin this process and hope all my students will reap the rewards of my
endeavor to become Nationally Board Certified.

I am currently working with our French teacher, Madame Bowling, on hosting a
Summer trip to Spain & France. It is my desire to take a group of students
every summer to one of the many Spanish speaking countries. This is an
experience of a lifetime and I hope you choose to go with me. Parents are
always welcome. Look for upcomming news on my Summer 2008 tour to Spain &
France.

I love the Spanish Language and culture and am excited to share it with all
my students. I look forward to working with each and every one of my
students and welcome any comments or concerns you may have. Thank you for
giving me the opporutunity be your Spanish teacher. I look forward to a
good year.

¡Viva la clase de Español!
