About The Teacher
Mrs. Williams has been teaching at Yukon High School since 2003. She is a graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma. She frequently attends AP and Pre-AP institutes and National Science Teacher Conventions to continually develop her classroom curriculum. Using various methods of teaching is a constant goal for Mrs. Williams. By attending workshops that help develop new and creative ideas for teaching, Mrs. Williams strives to make her classroom enjoyable and purposeful for everyone. Mrs. Williams is married to Paul and has two daughters, Meagan, age 10, and Madison, age 8. She also has a boxer-lab mix named Molly.

Mission
Mrs. Williams believes that all students have the potential to succeed. She believes that the reason a student fails is not because of a student's lack of intelligence or because the teacher didn't do a good job. A student fails when the student and teacher don't work together to accomplish a common goal. If the student and the teacher do not share the common goal of success, then they both fail. Mrs. Williams believes that success has to be chased and caught; it doesn't come to you, you have to go and get it.
