Suggestions for success in this course:    Attendance is crucial!  You need to be in class everyday. Communication between student and teacher is crucial! If you begin to struggle with a certain topic or you cannot figure out a homework problem, please feel free to ask questions during class, come by during break, or schedule a time with me for help. I will be available during all break times, from 7:15-8:00 on Wednesday and Friday mornings, 4th hour every day, and most Thursdays after school until 3:30.  I cannot help you if you do not communicate with me. You must make getting help a priority.

Homework:  You will have an assignment everyday. Completing and understanding all homework assignments is crucial for success in this course.  Your homework will be turned in at the beginning of each class and will be graded for completion. If homework becomes an issue, then I will be requesting your presence during break to work problems with me.

General Comments:

1.      You will be required to use pencil in this class on all homework, quizzes, and tests. You must label all problems and show work clearly.

2.      You will need to have a calculator available for use in class.  However, there will be times when a graphing calculator is prohibited on tests.  I will be using a TI-84 plus on the overhead.

3.      You will be expected to give 100% everyday from August 18th  to May 22nd. We will work everyday in class from bell to bell!
