Big News from Kindergarten

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Monday, February 13^th(A Class) and Tuesday, February 14^th(B class). Please have your child sign 21 Valentine Cards with his name only and bring them to school in a small Ziploc bag. I will help everyone distribute their cards to their friends. We are also going to wear the colours PINK, WHITE and RED for school spirit on both these days. If you would like to send in a snack food for sharing that day (fruit, veggies, crackers, cheese etc) please feel free.

Thank you to all the parents who were able to send in Play-Dough for our class. This month we are running low on Paper towels and dry erase markers to use in our stations. We also love to create with wrapping paper, ribbons, old cards, stickers and other odds & ends. If you are able to send any of these items in to school, it is greatly appreciated by all the Kindergarten students.

We have had a very unseasonal winter, but please make sure that your child is wearing either splash or snow pants to keep them warm and dry. Also putting extra mittens in a backpack is a great idea.

“Pink Shirt Day” is on February 28 and 29. Please send your child wearing pink to support Bully Prevention and Awareness.

We have no school on Monday, February 20^st, Family Day.

Please keep checking to your monthly calendar weekly to see if it is an A or B Friday!

 2^ndterm report cards will be going home on February 17^th.

Remember to support the Fundraiser for Kindergarten. You can purchase a gift card for Bradford Greenhouse to get your poinsetta's for Christmas. All the proceeds to this fundraiser will go fund educational supplies for all Kindergarten classes. Thank you for your support.

***Wish list items*** We are always appreciative of the following items: Shopping Bags, White Board Markers, Paper Towels, Crafting Supplies (especially Christmas themed items).

***Progress Reports will go home on November 10th and 11th for all Senior Kindergarten Students.***

Book Order is due next week.

Sub order forms are available in the office. $20.00 for 4 subway sandwiches. They are available only on Fridays.

This Friday is an A Day Friday.

Friday November 18th is a P.D Day. There will be no school that day.




Pizza Days are now on Wednesday for A Day and Thursday for B day
Remember to put MILK and Pizza tickets in your child's Mailbag and not in their lunch bag.

Reminder: Please send healthy lunch options to school on pizza day for and the kids are ravenous by then if they have not eaten enough food at first break. Thank you for your help in creating the best environment for learning at first break. They should still be eating a sandwich, wrap, veggies, yogurt or fruit at first break to give them the energy they need to learn and play. Pizza does not come until 1:00 in the afternoonschool.
