You (and your partners) will set up a table and sell your goodies or your games to the eager buyers of Birchview Dunes. Each business must submit a patent sheet for each product, and have it accepted by myself before spending any money on their business. Get your sheets in to me by Friday, April 20th to avoid someone else obtaining a patent for the idea you have in mind. After April 23rd, idea patents are granted on a first come, first served basis. More details to come laterJump Rope or Hoops for Heart event:Permission forms have been sent home for parents or guardians to sign. This is an annual fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and is an event that Birchview has excelled in for many years. Many people in our community benefit, or will benefit from this event, and our children participate in great fashion. We are one of the very top schools in the Province in Jump Rope and Hoops, and we hope to continue this tradition for many years to come. If you do not have the appropriate form, please see Mr. Carson asap. Student Guest Wireless Service:Students with permission from their parents/guardians are now permitted to bring their own personal computing devices into school for academic purposes. Students can obtain the appropriate permission forms from Mr. Whitlock or Mr. Pike.Any computers brought to school need to have fully charged batteries, and need to be returned to home each day. A weather proof bag or case for the computer is essential as computers cannot be taken into the school before the bell rings in the morning.Reminders:Cellphones and other personal electonic devices (ipods/mp3 players) are not permitted at school. If seen, these devices will be turned in to the office to be dealt with.
