Global Warming PowerPoint Presentation Group Members:__________________________________ Directions: You are to create a PowerPoint presentation complete with pictures and text which answers the questions about your global warming topic below. Make sure that you are putting information into your own words and not cutting/pasting your stuff off the internet, you will have to submit a bibliography with all of your sources at the end of the presentation (www.google.com is NOT A REFERENCE). Your presentation needs to include the following things: Length of five minutes, include text, pictures and a bibliography at the end. Topic: “How will global warming affect the Earth’s albedo?” Questions to Answer in Your Presentation:
1. What is Albedo? Define this in your presentation and state why it is important for maintaining the Earth’s temperature. 2. If Albedo higher at the equator or the poles of the Earth? Why? 3. Is Albedo important for maintaining the Earth’s temperature? Explain why. 4. What substances on Earth have high and low Albedo? How will the amounts of these substances change as the Earth continues to warm up? 5. If the Earth’s level of Albedo decreased how would future generations of people be affected? 6. If the Earth’s level of Albedo increased how could this impact global warming or be a possible solution to the problem? Websites to Guide You:
