Art Schools in Canada:
OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design - have started some degree programs)
NSCAD University (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University - have had
degree programs for
years - note the new 'University' in their name)
ECIAD (Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, Vancouver)
Fine Art Departments, University:
York University
Concordia University, Montreal
Queen's University (small program)
If you want to continue to study fine art, you'll want a B.F.A. program, if possible. If they don't offer
this, I wouldn't think their program will be challenging enough for you. If the program doesn't
require a portfolio for admission, the students who apply will be of varied backgrounds and qualities,
(some students with no high school art background) and the instruction will be geared to all levels.
also the
York/Sheridan Design program (B.Des)
U of T / Sheridan Art and Art History program (B.A.)
Alberta College of Art
Ryerson University (photography, media, fashion, architecture)
