IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE END OF THE COURSE:
1. Your last two assignments: Ecobottles and Finding Nemo are due on or
before Tuesday, June 10th
2. Ecobottle presentations will be on Tuesday, June 10 at the beginning of
class.
3. You will have 2 class periods to make your cheat sheet for the final exam.
These dates are Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10. You can have one sheet
double sided to take into the exam.
4. Your final exam is written over two days: Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday,
June 12 (An outline of what is covered on each day can be downloaded from the
SNC 2P0 documents page on Teacher Web)
April 23
- today we were in the computer lab working on our Types of Chemical
Reactions Lab
- it is due: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30th
- you have computer time today, Friday and Monday
- it counts for 30 marks

Physics Unit Test will be on Thursday, March 20th
Topics Include:
1. Terminology
2. Graphs (distance - time and position - time)
3. Equations for speed, acceleration, displacement, velocity
4. Vectors and Vector Diagrams
*You will get one and a half class preiods to review and create a "cheat
sheet" that can be used during the test.
March Break Work:
- finish up your blue box car projects
- you need to do a scale diagram, write a paragraph about what you would
modify and why, calculate the speed of your car in the hallway
- refer to your marking sheet for the distances and times you need and for
what will be evaluated
Wednesday, March 5
- those of you with cars ready to go tomorrow (which is when they are due)
will be awarded bonus marks for this project
- I will extend the deadling for bring in a car until Friday
- after Friday, no cars will be accepted
Tuesday, March 4
- today was the LAST class period to work on your cars
- I have added the outline for this project to the SNC 2P0 Documents page in
case you need to review the requirements
- today was also the LAST day to submit your vector directions and map that
was actually due yesterday!
- The date for the physics unit test is Wednesday, March 19th
Our first Friday quiz is on Friday, February 14th. It will cover distance
time graphs and the equation for calculating speed.
Monday, Feb. 11
- finish the Human Arm Pull activity
- it is to be handed in tomorrow
- you must submit the data table, the graph, and the questions
