About The Teacher
Attended McMaster University in Hamilton and received an Honours B.A. in German and History, followed by a Masters degree in German. Went to University of Western Ontario to study and earn a Bachelor of Education degree. I have been on staff at Cawthra since 1986 and enjoy working in such a supportive and vibrant learning environment. First semester I will be teaching the Grade 12 Individuals and Families in a Diverse Society and the Grade 11 course entitled Introduction to Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology, and then in Semester Two the Grade 10 Canadian History course. I help out with the Ritz choir and I am also the staff sponsor for a community services group called S.H.OUT which stands for Students Helping Out.
