About The Teacher

Mrs. Pierson teaches instrumental music at Glenforest Secondary School.  She 
has been at Glenforest since 2005/2006. Previously she taught at  T.L. 
Kennedy Secondary School for 5 years.  Before moving to T.L. Kennedy, 
Mrs.Pierson taught at R.H. Lagerquist Senior Public School and Williams 
Parkway Senior Public School.  She studied music education at the University 
of Western Ontario as a flute major.  At Glenforest, Mrs. Pierson teaches 
grade 9 instrumental music, grade 10 instrumental music, grade 11 
instrumental music, IB music, conducts the Wind Ensemble and is the 
staff advisor for GAMA and the small ensembles.

Mission For The Class

Her mission for the class is to develop intelligent listeners who enjoy a 
variety of music and support the arts community.  It is also important for 
us to have fun making music together.
