COURSE OUTLINE
Project ROPE is an interactive program sponsored by RAVSAK designed to enable
students to study and implement the sources connected with philanthropy and
the care of elderly. Part of the course will be theoretical and part will be
practical with hands on experience in creating a Federation type of model by
which money will be allocated to agencies in the community providing
proposals for funding.
As of September 20. we have been examining sources related to philanthropy
and the elderly, and have taken a site visit to Hillel Lodge where we met
with Steve Schneiderman, Executive. We will be making site visits to Tamir
and the Jewish Family Services in the near future.
