My motto is to create for my students a pleasant, safe, comfortable atmosphere, where every one, regardless of his academic achievements, is an important member of our class. About homework
 Most of the times home work is done in class. This gives me a realistic indication of the students capabilities as well as a reflection of my work I truly believe that I should be responsible for your child&#8217;s understanding of the material. If a student has difficulties with the work then I should be the one to cater to your child style of learning, not the parents. It&#8217;s our duty as teachers to teach your child. That is not to say that you as parents should disengage yourself from the student&#8217;s work. I thing that it is wonderful to ask your child about his work in class and be part of his Jewish learning.

Speaking of Jewish learning, I would kindly ask you to consider coming as a guest to our class and share with us a Jewish experience (It can be a trip to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Israel</st1:country-region></st1:place>, a Jewish summer camp, a tradition that you have in your family, a Jewish artifact or an item, etc.). This will be a wonderful contribution to our class. 
Now some requests: Please assist your child with organizing their school bag with all that they need to bring to class and I will do my share by making sure that all they need to take home is done so. Encorage your child to investigate (on the Internet, in the book or asking a knowlegeable person) in order to answer a challenge question. Remind your child that we are all on&nbsp;one team and his/her proper behaviour according to the class rules will enhance learning. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, suggestions and issues. The students are free to approach me with any challenges, academic or social for me to address them.
