Curriculum
Although our lives at home start to get busy with soccer and other
summer activities, it will continue to be “full steam ahead” in our daily
learning.
This month, our reading focus will be to review and incorporate all the
reading strategies we have worked on all year (Connecting, Visualizing,
Questioning, Inferring, Determining Important Details).
We will be completing our assessment pieces for letter writing to begin the
month. Then, we will be working on descriptive writing and also personal
recount/diary-journal entries.
In French, we are conjugating “er” verbs in both the past and present tenses.
Math will focus on addition and subtraction strategies and making change from
$10.
Mapping skills (reading, interpreting, and creating) is the unit of focus in
Social Studies.
