Citing Sources

Citing sources in a specific way is not mandatory at St. Joseph's Elementary 
School, however using basic MLA guidelines is recommended. Here are some 
examples:

Steps for Books (Basic)

1. Author's name.
2. Title of book.
3. Place of publication, name of publisher, date of publication.

No author

Star Trek: a behind the scenes look at science fictions best.
    Edington, California: Lewis Publications, 2004.

Single author

Ried, Lori. Your guide to dreams. Markham, Ontario: Scholastic, 
    1999. 

Two authors

Dewey, Melvil and Kieth Walsh. The library: heaven on earth. 
    Oromocto, New Brunswick: Waterville Press, 1999.

More than two authors

Eberts, Marjoirie, et al. Careers for financial mavens and other
    movers. Lincolnwood, Illinois: VGM Career Horizons, 2003.
