Activities for Home

 
Here are some activities to try at home.

1.  Make flash cards with the list of high frequency words. 

2.  Play Scrabble.

3.  Use scrabble tiles or make letter tiles to spell words.

4.  Ask your child to count your change using pennies, nickles and dimes.

5.  Add numbers together to make up 10.  Add doubles.

6.  Write a story!  Try using VOICE!

7.  Find 3-D solids in your home or community.

8.  Visit the local library. Try a non-fiction book!

9.  Roll dice or flip over 2 cards. Add the numbers up.  Try 3 cards or dice.

10. Tell time.  Give your child a time to start at. Ask them, What time will 
it be in 15 minutes?

11. Count to 100. Try counting by 2s, 5s and 10s.
