How much homework should my child have in Grade 7?
In grade 7, a student can expect to have 70 minutes of homework a night.
This will vary depending on the day; some students may have less or more,
depending on how they budget their time in class and at home.
What is the purpose of the student agenda?
The student agenda is used as a tool for parent-teacher communication. Notes
can be written between parents and teachers regarding student progress,
absences, etc. It is also a way for parents to know exactly what a student
has for homework, or has not been finished in class. Ms. Cillo checks the
agenda each morning for a parental signature, and signs them off each night
before the students go home.
How can I contact the classroom teacher?
A message may be left for Ms. Cillo by phoning the school. Appointments can
also be made in this manner.
Where can I get information about the Fully Alive Program?
Parents can sign up to borrow the Fully Alive Family Program Book, once the
program starts.
Will there be any field trips this year?
Yes. Students will receive forms about upcoming trips, and they will be
posted on the calendar page of this website.
