Our Shining Star Stellar Expectations

ROOM #117's "STARS" STELLAR EXPECTATIONS:

S it quietly and listen carefully.

T reat others kindly and respectfully.

A lways come to school prepared.

R aise your hand when you need to speak.

S olve problems with words not hands nor feet.

These are our 5 classroom (and beyond the classroom) expectations AND everyone must follow each and every one of them consistently. Should any of these not be followed, consequences will result.

ROOM #117's TARNISHED STAR CONSEQUENCES:

first offence=verbal warning

second offence=time spent at the "thinking table" (5 minutes) to reflect and constructively decide how to fix the problem. The child will complete a "Tarnished Star" Behaviour Sheet which will be sent home for a parent's/guardian's signature.

third offence=same action as the "second offence" with more time spent at the "thinking table" (6 minutes).

beyond the third/ a extremely severe offence=removal from the room, a visit to the principal and an immediate phone call home.

PLEASE ASSIST ME AND CONTINUOUSLY REVIEW AND DISCUSS THESE EXPECTATIONS AND CONSSEQUENCES AT HOME. REMEMBER, EXPECTATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE SAFETY, GOOD CITIZENSHIP, AND POSITIVE/PRODUCTIVE LEARNING.
