Clever Critter Creations: Monthly Home Learning Project

SEPTEMBER'S HOME LEARNING PROJECT: "LOOK AT ME.....I'M IN THE TREE!"
You and your child are invited to work together to complete this
month's voluntary home learning enrichment project-a family tree of
your immediate family-father/step-father, mother/step-mother, sister
(s), brother(s). Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins may be
included, if you wish; however, are not required if you find this to
be too much. You and your child will construct together a large
tree on top of a large background material of your choice. Then,
you and your child will discuss who are the members of your family,
how many members are in your family, and the number of corresponding
tree branches you will need to use (depending on the number of
family members being included). Remember, each member receives
his/her own branch and the oldest members appear side-by-side at the
highest point of the tree. A photo above the person's name and role
in the family must be placed on each branch.
