We are to the point now where the children needs their own set of headphones. If you could send in a set for your child we can keep them here at the school and we will label them so that your child is using their own pair. Winter GearNow that the cold weather has crept up on us the students need to have their winter gear to keep them warm. We go outside each day for 2 recesses and sometimes for a walk or playing on the bikes. Our classroom does not have heat vents so mittens do not get dry throughout the day. It is a good idea to send two pairs of mittens with your child. Please label EVERYTHING!! Independence is a big deal with Kindergartens students and the students are strongly encouraged to independently dress/undress themselves.Healthy Snack ProgramAt TAPS we offer a Healthy Snack Program. Many of our friends go down Monday, Wednesday and Friday to get a healthy snack. If your child is coming home with some of their lunch left over ask them if they have been visiting the snack program.
